Abstract

Every year, the Faculty of Humanities at F.A.S.T.A. University wanted to commemorate its patron saint, Edith Stein, on her feast day. In 2025, it did so through the discussions "Light at the Crossroads: Edith Stein and the Challenges of the 21st Century." The event took place through a series of interviews with specialists in the life and work of Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. These professors and researchers, Cecilia Giudice, Eva Reyes-Gacitúa, and Mátyás Szalay, shared some reflections based on the studies they have developed around the figure of the philosopher. Thus, they gave us an insight into how they came to know the German philosopher and showed us how her thought remains relevant in our contemporary world. Their explanations allow us to delve, from different perspectives, into the same unique oceanic thought of one of the great philosophers of the 20th century. We present here in written form the contribution that these professionals gave us in the interviews.
