Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic conditions included in Guidelins for authors and in About the magazine
- The text has a simple line space, a font size of 11 points, it is used in italics instead of underlined (except in URLs), and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the appropriate places in the text, instead of at the end.
- The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
- Whenever possible, URLs are provided for the references.
- The instructions included in the Guidelines for Authors are followed in order to ensure anonymity.
Guidelines for Authors
Publication Rules
The journal In Itinere is open to teachers or researchers who wish to publish academic articles, essays or reviews on topics related to Christian humanism, according to the following general fields: Philosophy/Ethics, Theology, History, Culture and Art, Politics, Education, Communication, Psychology, Ethics and Bioethics. Other fields may be proposed, apart from those indicated, if it is understood that they may be related to the general line of the journal.
The language of the studies will be Spanish, being able to include a summary in another language or the complete translation in a second document.
Preparation of the text
- The text will be sent in .doc or .rtf format
- The sheet size used will be A4. Normal margins: left and right of 3cm; top and bottom of 2.5cm.
- The format of the text will have the following characteristics: Calibri 12, simple line spacing, justified alignment, indentation at the beginning of the paragraph of 0.5cm. Paragraph spacing: previous 0 and after 6 points.
- The minimum length of the works will be 6 pages and the maximum length of 25 pages. The texts published in the "Reviews" section must in no case exceed 6 pages.
- Do not use words or phrases with all the capital characters within the text, or in titles, subtitles or bibliography.
- Do not use bold or underlined in the body of the text. If you want to highlight a word or expression, use bastardilla (italics).
- The texts must include the title, the summary (maximum 200 words) and the keywords (no more than five) in SPANISH and ENGLISH.
- Textual citations whose length is greater than 3 lines must be separated from the main body. In that case, Calibri 11, simple interlining, left margin of 2cm (the entire body of the appointment), no indent and without quotation marks will be used.
- Bibliographic references will be included in a list at the end of the work with the subtitle: Bibliography. In Calibri 11, 1 cm French indentation, with the format indicated by the APA standards (see below).
- The notes must be automatic, using the "Footnote" function of Word. The format will be: Calibri 10, simple line spacing, justified alignment, no indentation, no spacing between paragraphs.
- All the illustrations, figures and tables are within the text in the place that corresponds to them and not at the end. Do not incorporate images that exceed a width of 600 px or a height of 500 px.
- The works should preferably be original. In the event that you send a text that has been previously published, the Editorial Team will decide if a second publication is relevant (due to the relevance of the proposal or the topic) and must go through the evaluation process provided by the journal. The data of the first publication must be included in the first footnote
Sending text
1. The works will be sent by email to the following address: revista.initinere@ufasta.edu.ar
2. Do not name the files you send as "article" or "In Itinere" or similar. Do it in a way alluding to its content.
3. To ensure the integrity of the blind review of the shipment made by experts for this magazine, the work must be anonymous. Therefore, remove all personal allusions. If you have to include your name inevitably (for example, regarding point 12 of the previous section), use the word "Author".
4. Also send a complementary file, indicating the title of the job, full name, institutional affiliation, e-mail address and a short CV (maximum 300 words).
Rules of citation (APA)
Bibliographic references must appear in the body of the work (not in footnote) as follows: (Author/s page), in parentheses and without punctuation marks in the middle, taking into account that if there is more than one text of an author it appears (Author/s year: page). This will be the case whether the quote is direct, or if it is a paraphrase of the author's words.
Every text mentioned in the body of the work must have its complete reference in the list of the bibliography at the end of the work ordered by: Surname, Name and, within the works of the same author, by year. This bibliography must be carried out in accordance with the following procedure:
- Books: Last Name, First Name (year). Title of the book. Place of publication: editorial. URL: (if applicable)
- Book chapter: Surname, First Name (year). "Chapter Title". In Author/Editor/Compiler/Coordinator (if it is different from the author of the chapter, otherwise, it does not appear in this instance). Title of the book. Place of editing: editorial: pages. URL: (if applicable)
- Magazine articles: Surname, first name (year). URL: (if applicable) "Title", Name of the magazine, vol, number, year: pages.
- Press articles: Surname, first name (year). URL: (if applicable) "Title", Middle name, date: page. URL: (if applicable)
- Articles from the network: Surname, first name (year). "Title", Name of the website, date of consultation, URL.

WORKS THAT DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE PUBLICATION RULES INDICATED IN THIS SECTION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Dossier
This section is available in Vol. 12, No. 1. It includes papers on a specific thematic axis: "Technology and human development", coordinated by Dr. Alejandro Ramos and Eng. Roberto Giordano.
Scientific articles
In this section, scientific articles will be published by all those who wish to make known the results of their research related in some way to the area of knowledge of the Humanities. Authors may belong to national or international institutions.
The thematic areas will be: Philosophy, Theology, History, Culture, Art, Politics, Education, Communication, Psychology, Ethics, Bioethics, within the framework of the Christian humanism that inspires the educational task of FASTA University.
Miscellaneous
In this section, you can find articles or essays on various topics of debate in contemporary culture, providing possible keys for reflection and interpretation of current events for readers.Spirituality
In this section, essays or reflections on topics of Christian spirituality will be published. The objective of these works will not be to expose a theme, but also to provide a space for meditation that will be fruitful for the spiritual life of the readers.Reviews
This section will be dedicated to the review of books that the editorial team considers relevant to the themes addressed by the journal.Copyright Notice
The authors who publish in this magazine accept the following conditions:
a. The authors retain the copyright and assign to the journal the right of the first publication, with the work registered with the Creative Commons attribution license, which allows third parties to use the published as long as they mention the authorship of the work and the first publication in this journal.
b. Authors may make other independent and additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in this journal (e.g., including it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book) provided that they clearly indicate that the work was first published in this journal.
c. Authors are allowed and recommended to publish their work on the Internet (for example on institutional or personal pages) before and during the review and publication process, since it can lead to productive exchanges and greater and faster dissemination of published work (see The Effect of Open Access).

The names and email addresses entered in this magazine will be used exclusively for the purposes established in it and will not be provided to third parties or for use for other purposes.
