About the Journal
The magazine In Itinere is based at the FASTA University (Mar del Plata, Argentina). The central objective is to publish the results of research that address topics specific to the Humanities and Social Sciences or that assume a humanistic perspective to study problems of other areas of knowledge. Through this objective, we intend, on the one hand, to enrich Christian thought mainly around the current debates and make a significant contribution to analyze and solve the problems of the world, from the perspective of the humanities. On the other hand, we promote the publication of works that delve into the work of St. Thomas Aquinas (patron of our University), considering how he can illuminate the reflection on the current world. In this sense, the magazine promotes the approach of interdisciplinary perspectives so typical of the field of the humanities and so necessary in an interconnected world, which requires the conjunction of multiple knowledge to think about facts, objects, ideas.
Although in its beginnings, the objective of the journal was to publish the results of the research of the professors of our university, today, we invite all those who are interested in disseminating their work in the field of the humanities and social sciences, whether researchers, professors, students (national and international). In this new stage, in addition, the editors of the magazine seek to continue with the initial spirit of the printed version, under the digital modality, more dynamic and innovative.
The thematic areas are: Philosophy/Ethics, Theology, History, Art and Culture, Politics, Law, Education, Communication, Psychology, Bioethics. Other fields may be proposed, apart from those indicated, if it is understood that they may be related to the general line of the journal.
The frequency of the magazine is annual and the reception of articles remains open throughout the year. The publication of works in our magazine is free.
